How to choose SSR for type and application
A. Type of SSR
To determine the size of the SSR which you intend to use, first select the weight of the applicable traveler according to the range of the yarn count of denier to be produced. Next, the type of traveler having the widest range of weight, including the ranges fixed above, should be selected among various types of travelers. Finally, according to the traveler type, the height of SSR should be fixed automatically
Selection of conical and vertical types should be done in accordance with the differing characteristics of the relative fiber. Due to the present need for diverse purposes and the remarkable development of SSR and travelers, the classification of applications solely based on differing purposes has become obsolete. The general criteria for choosing SSR are shown in the follow schematic diagram for reference.
